Torah: The Original Blockchain

The oldest blockchain in the world isn’t Bitcoin or Ethereum.

The Jewish people have kept the Holy Torah as an unbroken chain for over 3,000 years. Through the Torah, we connect our current generation back all the way to Moses and Mount Sinai. In each block, every generation, the Torah is reviewed and passed onto the next, l’dor v’dor.

The “Torah blockchain”, the foundation of Judaism, is the supreme example of  decentralized validation and global consensus.

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)

Blockchain technology has since evolved and migrated into the digital world. Now, for the first time ever, the Torah is coming to the digital blockchain.

Take part in the first Sefer Torah created via blockchain technology using NFTs (non-fungible tokens). Each Parsha will be represented by an NFT minted on the Ethereum blockchain, accompanied with beautiful artwork to represent the various narratives of the Torah.

Buy a portion for yourself or for a loved one. Give an unforgettable Bar or Bat Mitzvah gift. Honor a loved one. Or simply be part of one of the most integral Mitzvot of writing a Sefer Torah.

Not Just Digital

This project isn’t merely creating digital collectibles of Torah portions. All collected funds will be used for the writing of a physical, professionally scribed, kosher Torah Scroll.

By purchasing a Parsha NFT, you are donating to help write a Sefer Torah while using the blockchain to receive digital proof of your stake in its creation. You can fulfill this beloved and essential Mitzvah of writing a Sefer Torah in a way that’s never been done before.

Let’s make history!

Where are the Torahs going?

Our first Torah scroll will be gifted Arugot Farm, a fledgling Jewish community in the ancient heart of the Judean Desert. Our second scroll will travel with Tech Tribe, a community for Jews in tech and digital media in New York City. Ultimately, we hope to write eighteen Torah scrolls for Jewish communities around the world.

Each Torah scroll will be dedicated, in part, in the memory of the victims of COVID 19, including some 5000 members of the Jewish community, serving as a living legacy and testament to the future.
